Tami Biase
Tami’s parents taught her how to ride a bike as a young child and she was hooked. By age 13 she was riding long distances for the thrill of it and also to raise money for charities such as American Lung Association and for Diabetes, MS, and Cancer research. She is certified by both Mad Dogg Athletics and Reaction Cycling for Spin, and AFAA for classes such as Urban Rebounding, Boot Camp, Total Body, and Sculpt. She has taught for 9 years in both Connecticut and Westchester County and has attended many cycling conferences inboth Miami and New York City. Her vacations involve sports in new places such as cycling in the GrandCanyon and skiing in British Columbia. Sedentary is not part of Tami’s vocabulary. As a full time Art Director with just a little bit of stress, the teaching helps her feel grounded. “I love helping people get fit but when they have never ridden a bike before and become addicted, that’s the ultimate reward. And if they go out and purchase a bike or pair of cycling shoes, I’m in heaven.”
